Taxi

It is easy to identify the local taxi drivers when you leave the airport by their uniform and the cars they are labeled taxis. We recommend you take into account that they are authorized or official airport taxis, since there are private taxis waiting outside the airport.
They do not offer a fixed rate for the transfer, so you will have to negotiate with them.
It is one of the fastest options to reach your destination.
You may have to wait for available taxi.

Bus

There is no city bus transportation that will take you from the airport to Downtown Cancun or the Hotel Zone.
There is a bus company named ADO that has departures to its own terminal in Downtown Cancun.
Once you get there, you must take a taxi that will take you to your hotel either in the Center, to the Hotel Zone or your destiny.
Another option is to identify some city bus transport that brings you closer to your destination.
The estimated time of the entire journey is approximately 80 minutes, depending on traffic.

Rent a Car

Get to know the destination on your own by renting a car.
Inside the airport, after picking up your bags, you will find modules from different providers for car rental.
Review the options and choose the one that best suits your preferences and budget.

Uber

Subject to availability of units at the time you request it.
Dynamic rates (not fixed) depending on the supply and demand of units available at the time of request.

You need a mobile device with internet access.

Collective Transport

It is probably the cheapest alternative.
Shared transfers from the airport to the main tourist destinations in the area.
It is necessary to book in advance.

Ferry - Catamaran

One of the options to reach any of the beautiful islands of the Mexican Caribbean.

Isla Mujeres

- There are several ferry companies that cross to Cozumel, all leaving from the same terminal in Playa del Carmen (located a few steps from Fifth Avenue and the bus terminal).
  These passenger boats operate continuously every hour, with the journey taking approximately 35 minutes.
Holbox
- To cross to Holbox it is necessary to travel by road from Cancun to the port of Chiquilá (Estimated time 2 hours) where the boats and ferries that cross to Holbox are located (Estimated time 20 minutes).
